Ryan Joyce will face Mike De Decker in the Slovak Darts Open last 16 on Sunday, June 21, after both players came through the second-round card in Bratislava.
Joyce booked his place by beating Jonny Clayton 6-5, while De Decker advanced with a 6-2 win over William O’Connor. The pair are listed together in Sunday’s round-three schedule at the Incheba Expo, where the afternoon session feeds directly into the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final later in the day.
The update keeps the Slovak Darts Open moving at pace after a Saturday session that also saw Gerwyn Price, Gian van Veen and Clayton exit the tournament. The event is the ninth European Tour stop of the season and is being staged in Slovakia for the first time.
Joyce and De Decker enter decisive Bratislava session
For Joyce, the Clayton win gives him another seeded scalp and a live route into the evening session. For De Decker, the cleaner 6-2 scoreline against O’Connor should sharpen expectations before a very different test, especially with Michael van Gerwen, Stephen Bunting and Rob Cross also still alive in a rapidly narrowing draw.
The winner will return later on Sunday if they make it through, with Sky Sports’ Slovak Darts Open schedule confirming the last-16 line-up and evening-session format.
