Luke Littler has been listed in the top-16 PDC Order of Merit group for the 2026 European Darts Open, with the European Tour event set for Leverkusen from July 10-12.
The PDC Europe field puts Littler alongside Luke Humphries, Gian van Veen, Michael van Gerwen, Jonny Clayton, James Wade, Josh Rock and Gerwyn Price in a heavyweight line-up at the Ostermann-Arena.
That matters because Leverkusen is Event 10 of the European Tour season and arrives just before the Betfred World Matchplay run-in fully takes over the calendar. The top-ranked players enter in round two, while the remaining names fight through the first round across Friday’s two sessions.
Leverkusen Field Carries Ranking Weight
PDC Europe has confirmed a 48-player field, with 32 pre-qualified players joined by Tour Card Holder, Host Nation, Nordic & Baltic and East Europe qualifiers. The tournament carries a £230,000 prize fund, including £35,000 to the winner, and counts towards the PDC Order of Merit, ProTour Order of Merit and European Tour Order of Merit.
The confirmed list also gives Nathan Aspinall a direct route back to the event he won in 2025, when he beat Damon Heta 8-6 in the final. For Littler, Humphries and Van Veen, Leverkusen offers another high-value stage before Blackpool becomes the sport’s main focus later in July, according to the European Darts Open field details.
