James Wade has been confirmed among the eight PDC representatives for the 2026 KenoGo Australian Darts Masters in Wollongong, with Josh Rock and Gerwyn Price also listed for the August 21-22 World Series event.
The PDC confirmation gives the WIN Entertainment Centre field a harder major-tournament edge, with three-time UK Open champion Wade joined by two former World Cup winners in Rock and Price.
It also keeps Damon Heta in a prominent home role. The Australian number one is part of the PDC contingent, alongside European champion Gian van Veen, Jonny Clayton, Stephen Bunting and Ross Smith.
Wade adds weight to Wollongong line-up
The announcement matters because the Australian Darts Masters is no longer just a showcase stop on the World Series calendar. The 16-player field pits eight PDC invitees against eight Oceanic representatives, meaning the confirmed elite list sets the level local qualifiers must meet in the first round.
Wade’s inclusion gives the event one of the sport’s most durable big-stage operators. Rock brings a different threat, while Price’s return ensures another proven World Series performer will be in the draw.
Raymond Smith, Brody Klinge, Tim Pusey, Joe Comito and Simon Whitlock are among the Oceanic names already confirmed, according to the PDC’s Australian Darts Masters announcement.
With Wollongong now carrying Wade, Rock, Price and Heta in the same field, the August stop has the depth to shape more than World Series ranking points.
