Tim Pusey Wollongong Surge Puts Australian Darts Masters Field Into Focus

Tim Pusey’s late ADA Tour surge has earned him a place at the 2026 KenoGo Australian Darts Masters, with the PDC confirming five more Oceanic qualifiers for Wollongong on June 30.

The update locks Pusey into the World Series event at WIN Entertainment Centre on August 21-22, alongside Raymond Smith, Brody Klinge, Joe Comito and Darren Penhall. It also sharpens the local half of the draw before one final DartPlayers New Zealand qualifier completes the eight-player Oceanic line-up.

Pusey’s route is the standout movement in the latest confirmation. Smith and Klinge had already carried the strongest domestic-season profile, while Penhall and Comito had both been part of the closing ADA race. Pusey, though, forced his way into the picture with a dominant final weekend and now gets the reward: a home-stage shot at the PDC’s travelling elite.

The five qualifiers join Simon Whitlock and Adam Leek in the Oceanic section, leaving just one regional place outstanding. The PDC side of the tournament is already heavy: Gian van Veen, Jonny Clayton, James Wade, Josh Rock, Gerwyn Price, Stephen Bunting, Ross Smith and Damon Heta are listed for the event.

That gives the Australian Darts Masters a clear contrast: established World Series names against a local group with form, pressure and home-crowd edge. The full qualifying update was confirmed by the PDC.
