Gerwyn Price survived a Brayden Hall scare at the 2026 bet365 US Darts Masters in New York, winning 6-4 to set up a quarter-final against James Wade on finals day at Madison Square Garden.
The Welshman came through a tight opening-round test in the Infosys Theater, where Hall pushed one of the PDC’s headline names deep before Price secured his place in the last eight.
It keeps Price in the mix for the World Series title after a session that also saw Luke Littler, Luke Humphries, Stephen Bunting, Gian van Veen, Jonny Clayton, James Wade and Jim Long advance.

Price’s reward is a meeting with Wade, who beat Adam Sevada 6-3 in his own opener. The winner of that quarter-final will face either Littler or Long in the semi-finals, making Price’s section of the draw one of the sharpest routes to the New York final.
The result also matters because Price has already gone close in this event, having reached the 2024 final, and this year’s field has offered little room for a slow start.
Hall’s performance gave the North American contingent another respectable marker on home soil, but Price’s greater finishing authority told when the match moved into its decisive legs.
The US Darts Masters concludes on Friday, June 26, with the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final all played in one session. Sky Sports reported the full opening-night results from New York.
