James Wade Sets Gerwyn Price Quarter-Final After Adam Sevada Win

James Wade beat Adam Sevada 6-3 at the 2026 bet365 US Darts Masters in New York to move into a quarter-final against Gerwyn Price at Madison Square Garden.

Wade, back on the World Series stage in Manhattan, avoided the kind of first-round slip that removed Josh Rock from the draw and kept the PDC representatives in control of the bottom half of the bracket.

The result came in Thursday night’s opening session at the Infosys Theater, where Sevada was looking to convert home-circuit momentum into a major New York statement. Instead, Wade’s steadier leg management gave him the room to close out a professional win and extend his stay into Friday’s decisive session.

Price showdown now shapes final day

Price also had to work for his place, beating Brayden Hall 6-4, which leaves a proven major-winning pairing on the quarter-final line. The winner of Price v Wade will move within one match of the final, with the £30,000 title prize still live.

The wider draw still has Luke Littler, Luke Humphries, Stephen Bunting, Gian van Veen and Jonny Clayton involved, but Wade’s progress matters because it adds another experienced finisher to a last-eight field already loaded with ranking weight.

The official PDC event page lists the US Darts Masters as the fourth World Series event of 2026, staged across June 25-26 in New York, with the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final all to be completed on Friday.
