Luke Littler marched to the top of the Premier League table with an exceptional performance in Berlin to pick up his third nightly win in four weeks.
Littler was simply at his breathtaking best across the night, dispatching Stephen Bunting, Gerwyn Price, and Michael van Gerwen.
The darting phenomenon was unrelenting in scoring the department, as he didn’t drop below a 105 average in his three matches, and was consistently above 40% on the checkouts.

Utterly, utterly ridiculous from Luke Littler 😮💨
The World Champion pins his SECOND Big Fish of the final to defeat Michael van Gerwen 6-4 to win in Berlin and move top of the table 👏

In the final against Van Gerwen, Littler even reeled in the big fish twice, including in the final leg of the match, to send a strong message to his Premier League rivals.
Glen Durrant compares Luke Littler to Stephen Hendry
Littler was the favourite to win the Premier League before the tournament started, and now it feels like he’s nailed on to take the title away from Luke Humphries.
The 19-year-old is playing darts from another galaxy, and is even winning matches when his opponent is averaging 107, as Bunting found out in the quarter-final.
However, the Bullet isn’t the only one who is probably fed up with facing Litter, as Price has lost six games in a row to the teenager, with four of those defeats coming in the Premier League.
Speaking on Sky Sports after Littler’s semi-final win over the Welshman, Glen Durrant likened this rivalry to when Jimmy White hated playing Stephen Hendry.
“I thought Gerwyn Price’s 152 against Luke Littler was going to kickstart him, but Littler never knows when he is beaten right now,’ Durrant said.
“We spoke about his resilience before the show, and he put the afterburners on at the end.
“I think Jimmy White once said about Stephen Hendry: ‘He is beginning to annoy me’. I think it is the same for Price with Littler…”
Hendry dominated snooker in the 1990’s, just as Littler is doing with darts in the modern era, and the Scotsman once won 10 matches on the bounce against White between 1988 and 1998.
Littler is impossible to beat at his best
Littler was destined to win night eight of the Premier League, extending his unbeaten run to six matches in the competition.
But it was the manner of his displays that was most impressive, as he consistently hammered in two treble visits and left his opponent no chance.
Bunting ran into an immovable object in the quarter-final after winning just three legs, despite averaging 107, with Price and Van Gerwen also producing incredible darts.
Sadly, when the Nuke is playing at the top of his game, no one in the sport can beat him. That is a worrying sight for his rivals, as he’ll need to drop down a few gears to suffer defeat.
