ESPN will broadcast PDC events in the United States, starting with the bet365 US Darts Masters at Madison Square Garden on June 25-26. The agreement gives the sport a major American platform as Luke Littler, Luke Humphries and the World Series field compete in New York.
The PDC confirmed the move on Thursday, with ESPN coverage beginning at the Theater at Madison Square Garden and extending across a five-event slate that includes the World Matchplay, World Grand Prix, Grand Slam of Darts and World Darts Championship.
PDC Makes Its US TV Move
The timing is pointed. The US Darts Masters has already become the PDC’s annual shop window in New York, but ESPN adds a broader route into homes beyond the established darts audience.
For the PDC, the deal sits neatly alongside its push to turn American interest into regular viewing habits. The North American Championship remains tied to the same Madison Square Garden week, creating a local pathway into Alexandra Palace while the elite PDC names provide the headline pull.
It also gives US-based supporters a clearer destination for the sport’s biggest nights. According to the PDC’s ESPN broadcast announcement, the package starts immediately with the New York World Series event before rolling into the major summer, autumn and winter tournaments.
That matters because darts has rarely lacked spectacle; in the US, it has more often lacked a consistent, mainstream stage. ESPN gives the PDC exactly that.
