Tim Pusey won three of the four Australian Darts Association Tour events in Melton from June 26-28, strengthening his case as one of the leading Australian names before the PDC World Series heads Down Under.
The Perth thrower was the dominant figure across the Victoria weekend, taking Friday’s opener, backing it up in Saturday’s first event and then returning on Sunday to complete a three-title haul in set-play format.
Joe Comito stopped the clean sweep by beating Pusey 6-1 in Saturday’s second-event quarter-final before going on to claim his first ADA title of the 2026 season. Stuart Coburn also produced one of the weekend’s headline moments, landing a nine-dart finish against Josh Kime to become only the second player in ADA history to do so in official competition.
Pusey Lead Sharpens Australia Picture
The weekend also confirmed the make-up of the Australian qualifiers for August’s Wollongong Darts Masters, with Raymond Smith, Brody Klinge, Pusey, Comito and Darren Penhall all earning places. Smith also secured the New Zealand Darts Masters spot.
For Pusey, the timing matters. A three-title weekend this close to the World Series swing gives him form, rhythm and a clear warning to the PDC visitors. The PDC report on the ADA Tour weekend underlines how emphatic the Melton run was.
