PDC Europe has opened applications to find its first female caller voice, with candidates asked to submit audition videos before a July 26 deadline.
The organiser confirmed the search on June 25, setting out a route that could put the winning caller on a major PDC Europe stage later in 2026.
Applicants have been asked to send a video of no more than two minutes, including a short personal introduction in German or English, calls of 180, 100 and 26, one score of their choice, and the official player announcements used at the start of a leg.
Auditions Set For Sindelfingen
The strongest candidates will be invited to a live audition at the PDC Europe Next Gen tournament in Sindelfingen on August 15 and 16, where an expert jury featuring Russ Bray, Katharina Kleinfeldt, Philip Brzezinski, Daniela Bata and Franz Engerer will assess the performances.
PDC Europe said the winners will earn the chance to call on the big stage for the first time at one of its Darts Galas, with the longer-term aim of welcoming a female caller into its event team.
The move adds a notable pathway into one of darts’ most visible off-oche roles, especially as the European Tour circuit continues to play to large arena crowds across the continent.
Full application details are available through PDC Europe’s first female caller announcement.
