Raymond Smith Wollongong Place Sharpens Australian Masters Field

Raymond Smith and Brody Klinge have converted their ADA Tour pressure into World Series certainty, with both Australians confirmed for the 2026 KenoGO Australian Darts Masters in Wollongong.

The pair are joined by Tim Pusey, Joe Comito and Darren Penhall after the latest Australian Darts Association cut-off, completing five more Oceanic places for the August 21-22 event at the WIN Entertainment Centre. The PDC confirmed Smith and Klinge among the qualified names on June 30, while Dartsnews listed the full five-player ADA group.

Wollongong field takes shape

Smith’s qualification matters because it adds a hardened Australian ranking leader to a field already carrying elite PDC weight. Klinge, meanwhile, returns after also appearing in last year’s Australian Darts Masters, giving the local section another player with direct World Series experience.

Pusey’s late surge keeps his Melton treble in sharper focus, while Comito’s first ADA title of the campaign now carries a tangible reward beyond form. Penhall completes the quintet, leaving the DPNZ qualifier to settle the final Oceanic berth.

For Smith and Klinge, the prize is clear: a Wollongong stage shot against the PDC’s travelling names, where one televised upset can reshape a season. With Adam Leek and Simon Whitlock already in the Oceanic section, the local half of the draw now has a harder competitive edge.
