Darren Penhall has been confirmed among the five Oceanic qualifiers for the 2026 KenoGo Australian Darts Masters, adding another experienced Australian name to the Wollongong World Series field.
The PDC announced on Tuesday that Penhall, Raymond Smith, Brody Klinge, Tim Pusey and Joe Comito had secured their places for the August 21-22 event at the WIN Entertainment Centre.
That group will join the eight PDC representatives already listed for the trip, a roster featuring European champion Gian van Veen, Welsh pair Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton, James Wade, Josh Rock, Stephen Bunting, Ross Smith and home favourite Damon Heta.
Penhall Adds Depth To Wollongong Line-Up
Penhall’s qualification matters because it keeps the Australian Darts Masters rooted in the domestic circuit rather than simply framing the weekend around the travelling PDC names. Smith and Klinge provide headline local weight, Pusey arrives off a dominant ADA Tour weekend, and Comito has converted his own breakthrough into a major-stage chance.
For Penhall, the reward is a shot at the World Series stage in front of a home crowd, with the Oceanic representatives now carrying the first-round intrigue against elite opposition. It also gives Wollongong another locally recognisable route into a draw built around global names.
