England’s football squad have been invited to watch Luke Littler and Luke Humphries at the US Darts Masters in New York before their World Cup meeting with Panama.
The crossover arrives with the two-day World Series event due to be staged at Madison Square Garden on Thursday and Friday, putting US Darts Masters darts in front of a travelling football audience already in the New York area.
Thomas Tuchel’s players face Panama at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Saturday, and legendary referee Russ Bray has opened the door for England’s biggest names to take in the tungsten first.
Rob Maul reported for The Sun that Bray, speaking as a BetMGM ambassador, invited Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham and the wider squad to “come and see us”.
MSG Stage Gets A Football Twist
Littler and Humphries head the bill after their World Cup of Darts success in Germany, adding another layer to an event already carrying heavy British interest.
The tournament features eight PDC representatives against eight players from the United States and Canada, with £30,000 on offer to the winner.
Humphries returns as defending champion, while Littler’s billing as No.1 seed means the pair can only meet in the final. That makes the England invitation more than a novelty: it underlines how far the sport’s biggest names now travel beyond darts’ usual borders.
